Self Help by Norm Foster, Directed by Adele Kuyek: There’s a stiff in the study.  A reporter’s looking for dirt in the hall.  A detective is looking for a missing gardener.  The maid is in major need of Self Help.  A smart-mouthed agent is suspicious that something is amiss. Self-help gurus Cindy and Hal Savage’s perfect life has fallen apart. What to do? Hide the body! This farce is a hilarious comedy, perfect for a fun, laugh filled night out!

Meet the Okanagan Woodcarvers! Established in 1995, the North Okanagan Woodcarvers are made up of a group of over 40 local carving enthusiasts. The Carver’s skills range from beginner to advanced, and they meet regularly to share ideas, learn from one another, and socialize in a relaxed and casual setting.

Meetings occur every Tuesday between 1:00 and 4:00pm at the Vernon Community Arts Centre, from January to May, and September to November.

Join the Kalamalka Weavers and Spinners for their monthly meeting and learn more about this diverse and interesting craft.  The next KWS Guild meeting will be on Wednesday March 16 at 6:30 p.m. It will be a short business meeting, followed by Show and Tell. Meet will be held at the Vernon Library in the meeting room downstairs.

PLEASE NOTE: You must bring your vaccine passport with you and present it when you check in. Masks, distancing, and all the usual Covid protocols are in place at the library.
We will endeavour to have a zoom set-up for those who are unable to meet in person and will get that out to you closer to the date.

Capturing a special moment in time where they regain a sense of freedom after long periods of isolation, she brings together different strategies and techniques to express her relationship to the subject formally and conceptually.
