Art, Aging and the Modern Elder

The Armstrong Spallumcheen Gallery and Museum presents Art, Aging and the Modern Elder, an exhibition focused on the joys and perhaps the challenges of being an Modern Elder in today’s culture. The 'Modern Elder' artists are a subgroup of the NOFCA (North Okanagan Federation of Canadian Artists). Their exhibit will circulate around the province in 2022 but this is your chance to see it locally. 

An opening reception will be held in Armstrong on Thursday, October 28 from 6 to 8 pm.  Wine and goodies will be served.

You must have a vaccine passport to attend.

Marvelous Miniatures

From November 2 - 27, Gallery Vertigo is hosting an annual fundraiser of miniature works by its members and local artists. Each piece is a small miniature work measuring 6 x 6 inches and will be offered for sale. Funds raised will be used to add new additional programming to next year's schedule of events. Come and get your Christmas shopping started early.

There will be an opening reception held on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Refreshments will be available by donation.

Exhibition runs November 2 - 27, 2021, with regular gallery hours open Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 4:00pm.
