Enchanted: A World of Fantasy
Vernon Community Arts Centre 2704A Highway 6, VernonJoin us at the Vernon Community Arts Centre between July 3 and July 26 and step into an Enchanted World of Fantasy. May your imagination take you on an exploration of myths, legends, magic and the supernatural with this extraordinary exhibit by members of the Arts Council of North Okanagan.
Visual artists were invited to use their creativity and self-expression to help viewers step into a world unlike their own. Fantasy often tells the stories of good versus evil, helps us explore our darkest fears and deepest desires, and conjures up epic tales of heroic battles or of love and loss. The fantasy world is made up of wizards, elves, gnomes, fairies, dragons, goblins, monsters, mermaids, and even animals with humanlike features. From heroes and villains to star-crossed lovers, encounters happen between angels and demons, aliens from outer space, superheroes, and spirits.
The Arts Centre is open Monday to Thursday, 9am-9pm, and Friday and Saturday, 9am-5pm
