Vernon Public Art Gallery invites you to bring your little ones under the age of 5 to explore art making on the last Monday of every month. ​This session will start with a tour of select artworks in our annual Member’s Show. Inspired by the artworks on display, we will experiment with various materials and processes to create our own self-portrait ornaments!

Family Saturdays – Exploring Colour Collages

Family Saturdays at the VPAG take place on the last Saturday of each month with an art project suitable for little kids and big kids alike. This session will start with a tour of select artworks in our annual Member’s Show. Inspired by the artworks on display, we will experiment with various coloured materials and processes to create our own colour collage! • $5/members • $9/non-members. This month we will start our session off by engaging with artworks in our exhibition derived from UBCO’s permanent collection. Inspired by the variety of works in the exhibition, specifically the prints, we will head to the classroom and learn about the monoprinting process and make our own relief prints using materials such as styrofoam, brayers, and printmaking ink. • $5/members • $9/non-members.
