The Vernon Lapidary and Mineral Club is a diverse group of people with a common interest in all areas of rocks and minerals from collecting to making them into finished jewellery. The club has nearly 300 members including 80 junior members. Important activities include: field trips to collect rocks and minerals, club meetings to learn and share, a workshop to cut, grind and polish samples and sales to market rocks and finished creations. The club also holds workshops for people to learn a variety of skills.
