Val Bosk (Rusty Roof Pottery) began her pottery journey six years ago. It was at a time in her life when she needed something to pour her heart into. Clay gave her the opportunity to express, to learn, to connect with others, and to grow as an artist. This meant “stepping out” of the comfort zone and immersing herself in the practice of clay.

Val has since developed a huge following through her “Rusty Roof Pottery” studio.
Val applies wheel throwing, slab construction and sculpture to capture whimsy and emotion in each piece. Every mark and detail is intentional. Whether it is a tiny collectable or a mug, it is intended to evoke a fond memory or feeling for herself and for others.
