Jill has always had a creative outlet in her life.  Wanting to learn something new, she began to explore the art of bookbinding in 2019.  After starting to journal to get through a challenging time in her life, Jill wanted to hand bind her own journals.

Self-taught by reading books, watching videos and joining the Canadian Bookbinders and Book Artists Guild, Jill has learned many different binding methods such as Coptic and case binding. 

Jill has been focusing on binding journals, sketch and art books, and uses a variety of materials including Japanese paper and cork fabric.
