PHOTOGRAPHING YOUR 2-D ARTWORK with Svetlana Shkuratova

Do you struggle to capture good images of your paintings or prints?  Whether you are entering an art contest, submitting a portfolio, or simply posting your artwork on Facebook or Instagram, it is essential to know how to take good photos of your artwork, because high quality photography offers the first impression of your art and your professionalism.  In this workshop, you will learn how to take photos of your two-dimensional art. We’ll look into lighting, environment, camera settings and simple editing – the staples necessary to make your art look true to life. We will focus both on theory and hands-on experience, so bring your camera (DSLR or cell phone) and a tripod if you have one.
