Midsummer’s Eve of the Arts – 35th Annual Auction
The 35th annual art auction event, Midsummer’s Eve of the Arts, will take place on Wednesday, July 21st, 2021. This year’s fundraiser will be a hybrid of live and virtual formats, allowing those who aren’t able to attend in person to still take part in the silent and live auctions! Due to the current health restriction, the Gallery will be limiting the number of in-person guests to under 100 people and the private event will take place on the rooftop patio of Nixon Wenger LLP.
Tickets are $100 and are going fast! Call the VPAG at 250-545-3173 to claim the remaining few or be put on a waitlist.
The VPAG would like to thank all of the amazing artists who have helped make this year’s fundraiser a possibility! With a total of over 80 artworks, as well as some incredible experience packages available, you won’t want to miss this auction! Join us at the MEA Auction Preview at the VPAG from July 3 – July 21, 2021, to see the spectacular pieces we have available this year!
Due to the limited number of tickets available for the live event, we want to ensure that not only ticket holders can take part, but that everyone can acquire their favorite artwork or item.
We have created a website which includes all the artwork and items available, visit www.midsummerseveofthearts.com to view and register to start bidding!
Important information regarding the auction:
The silent auction is open to bid up until midnight on July 21st, 2021 and the live auction will be available to bid up until 6:30 PM on July 21st. After 6:30pm. we will pause bids on the website and the live auction artworks and items and will then live-stream the live auction starting at 7:30 PM hosted by Valley Auctions’ Don Raffan. We will have 3 phone lines open if you are not in attendance and wish to call in and continue bidding on your favourite live auction items! Phone numbers will be located on the website the day of the event, so stay tuned!
