Gallery Vertigo will be presenting the work of Melissa M. Merrill September 1 – 26, 2020 in an exhibit entitled Kibbles and Bytes. Melissa is a Canadian artist who lives and works in Vernon, British Columbia.

Kibbles and Bytes is a collection of work without the boundaries of traditional and representational painting. In these pieces, Melissa explores media, memories and movement, with each piece speaking to who Melissa Merrill is, who she was, and her growth as an artist as she reaches into ‘serious silliness’. This exhibition features seven large bodies of work, with each piece consisting of mixed media on stretched canvas.

Gallery Vertigo will host an opening reception on September 3, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. All Covid-19 health and safety protocols will be strictly adhered to. Come and meet Ms. Merrill, talk with her about her art, and see her displays of creativity.
