Archway Society for Domestic Peace hosts the Creatrix Rising art exhibition resulting from a series of art workshops for women survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Participants have expressed themselves through various art forms – clay, acrylic, poetry, watercolour, and voice expression – to heal and explore their stories through art.

The Creatrix Rising Art Show runs March 4 to 15 at the Caetani Centre’s Sveva Caetani Gallery at 3401 Pleasant Valley Rd. in Vernon.

Opening Night event is on Friday, March 8 (International Women’s Day) from 5 – 8 pm. The Opening Night event will allow the women to feel celebrated and for those visiting the exhibit to engage and reflect on how the women have presented their stories. RSVPs are required (for this date only) by March 3.

The exhibition is open for free viewings on Tuesday, March 5, Wednesday, March 6 and Thursday, March 7 from 12-3 pm
Saturday, March 9, 12–3 pm, Monday, March 11, Tuesday, March 12 and Wednesday, March 13: 12-3 pm and 5–7 pm
