Artist Talk by Sage Sidley

April 27 @ 6:00 pm

Join the Vernon Public Art Gallery online for an Artist Talk by Sage Sidley on April 27th at 6:00 pm PST.

Sidley’s exhibition at the Vernon Public Art Gallery titled step, slither and scroll contemplates the existence of overlapping and connected digital and analogue systems on both the micro and macro levels. Her research includes investigating technological networks which we encounter daily. Her exhibition features multi-media, drawing, digital and installation formats as she explores the crossovers that exist in our ecological and digital worlds. Step, Slither and Scroll is currently on view at the VPAG until May 17th. The Artist Talk will expand on some of Sidley’s current and previous work. Sidley is a former graduate of UBC Okanagan’s BFA program and is a current Sessional Lecturer at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University, where she also completed her Masters of Fine and Digital Arts.
