Sevdalina Prodanova – OPT Artist Talk

The Vernon Public Art Gallery invites you to an Artist Talk with Sevdalina Prodanova 

Sevdalina Prodanova was born in Bulgaria, and graduated from the Academy of St. Kiril and Metod in Veliko Turnovo, Bulgaria. From 2015 – 2017 she worked as the curator at the Art Gallery in Burgas. She works in the field of graphics, graphic design, and monumental arts. Her work has themes of personal emotions, and she speaks of a strong connection to nature and things that we have not yet left our human footprint. The Cowboy Dinner Show is back at the O’Keefe Ranch every Friday night this August. Rob Dinwoodie and his friends will once again provide cowboy entertainment that will provide every guest with a tactile experience of the cowboy's life. From 5-6:30 learn how to rope a steer, saddle a horse and tour the ranch as just a start to a fun filled evening of entertainment. When the dinner triangle rings, enjoy cowboy vittles made to tantalize the taste buds while enjoying a stage show that captures the spirit of the cowboy. “Drovers of the Cattle Trail” is presented through song, cowboy poetry, story and a drama that is full of wit and humour.

VPAG Crit Club

Vernon Public Art Gallery 3228 31st Avenue, Vernon, British Columbia, Canada

Vernon Critique Club is a high school after school program committed to create a safe and caring environment for students to share their artwork with their peers.

Each third Thursday of the month, students will bring in a piece of art that is in process or complete, and receive a open discussion critique on their work by the group. Each critique session will also have a guest host who works within the art industry to speak about their experiences and offer their own critiques of the students artworks.

Join us on the last Friday of every month for a diverse exploration of art-making materials and art processes through age-appropriate art activities. We invite parents and guardians to bring their little ones under the age of 5 to explore art-making with non-toxic materials in this fun and social program that encourages creative self-expression while developing fine and gross motor skills and sensory awareness. Make sure you dress for the mess as all are invited to join in on the fun! Parents must accompany children for the duration of the session and admission is by donation.

Riot on the Roof

Riot on the Roof’s goal is to promote youth involvement in the Okanagan art community by providing an opportunity for teenagers/young adults to view and participate in alternative forms of art and entertainment.
