Creativity out of Chaos – ACNO Member’s Exhibit

Chaos and disorder often promote a high level of innovative, unconventional and original creation of ideas and products. We asked members of the Arts Council of the North Okanagan how chaos has ignited their creativity and invited them to intepret the quote above into their artistic impression.
Exhibit is on now until Monday, February 1st at the Vernon Community Arts Centre. Gallery Hours are Monday to Thursday, 9am-9pm, and Friday-Saturday, 9am-5pm.

Over the Rainbow
Gallery Vertigo 2901 - 30 Avenue, Vernon, British Columbia, CanadaGallery Vertigo is please to host local artists Penny Ketola, Linda Sellers and Judy Templeton's OVER THE RAINBOW for the month of February.
The exhibit is a display of experimentation with colour, texture, watercolour mediums, and watercolour/printmaking technique combinations. There are works of art ranging from realistic to non-objective and anything in-between.

In "Leah's Gift: A Story about Reframing Loss", Okanagan author Destanne Norris illuminates how her art and journaling helped her frame unanswerable questions to find new meaning and purpose after she lost her young daughter.
