Gallery Vertigo 2901 - 30 Avenue, Vernon, British Columbia, CanadaVisual Art is a primary occupation in Ted’s life, while his life’s work has been carpentry, and creations of beauty and function together. Enchanted by anti-establishment ideals, enthused by communal living on the land, and enveloped by a deep spiritual longing, Ted has been a bit of a wanderer - through multiple decades, across continents and through the great chasm of addiction and turmoil into belief and turmoil.
He never feels more at home than when in prayer or meditation on Sacred Texts; he loves family and friends, and holds a special place for those struggling with mental illness, poverty, grief, disillusionment. A great respect for life fills his psyche, and a deep connection to intuition, the dream world, and the hereafter drive him daily. The work presented here reflects all of this, and events also specific to the Okanagan and personal conditions.
