The Mackie Lake House was joined by Artist in Residence Doris Charest for much of September. This is an annual program held at Mackie Lake House, during which time we offer the house as a space for artists to undergo an intensive art-making process. We are proud to partner with the Vernon Public Art Gallery, giving each artist the chance to exhibit their work at VPAG in a solo show.

Doris opened her exhibition on October 5. A Visual Journey will remain on view at the VPAG until December 20, 2023.
