The Sport & Culture Society of the North Okanagan (SCSNO) was born out of the passion and commitment of a group of volunteers who have a vision to help grow and support our diverse sport & culture community. Board members of the SCSNO have set out their mission and values to give direction and context to the society.

Our objective is to bring together partners of all sports and culture organizations, including tourism, stakeholders, levels of government, our community and volunteers to enhance sport, recreation and culture in the North Okanagan.

We will strive to provide leadership for the development of infrastructure and hosting of events for the betterment of our community. These actions will help enhance our strong and vibrant community while promoting sport and culture for a successful future in our region for generations to come.
