The North Okanagan Artists Alternative (NOAA) invites its artist members to display their recent works in its bi-annual members show at Gallery Vertigo.

These works vary in technique, medium and size. This particular month’s display does not have a specific theme but rather is a showcase of work being locally produced. The artists come from varied backgrounds, and all have a passion for creatively expressing their vision. On this occasion, the exhibit will run for two months and will be on display from October 29 to December 21, 2024.

Gallery Vertigo’s November Featured member is Anna Mykhailevska. Born in Ukraine, in the city of Berezhany, Ternopil region, Mykhailevska studied at the Vasyl Stefanyk National University of the Carpathians at the Faculty of Decorative and Applied Arts and has exhibited in group and individual exhibitions in Ukraine. Having recently immigrated to Canada, she now makes her home here in Vernon.

Anna’s main theme of creativity is the unity of man and nature, the relationship and reflection of the beauty of the human soul and the harmony of the natural world. Using acrylic and oil techniques, she works in the avant-garde style.
