Celebrate the start of Culture Days in BC at the second annual Sundog Festival of Arts and Culture on Sept. 20 and 21 at Polson Park in Vernon, BC.
This FREE admission festival, made possible by the Arts Council of the North Okanagan, Tourism Vernon, Regional District of the North Okanagan, the Government of BC and Fortis BC, features two days of live music, dance, and cultural performances, plus makers and creators from the Polson Artisan Market and Vernon Community Arts Centre, plus booths from other local arts, culture and social organizations.
Headlining the Bandstand on the Friday is Indigenous hip hop artist Dakota Bear, while Vancouver’s favourite party band Five Alarm Funk headlines on the Saturday – plus there will be musicians and MCs from all over Western Canada playing throughout the two-day festival.
Also, *NEW* this year is a spectacular Drone Show, brought to Sundog by the VOICE Society, which will light up the sky on the Saturday at 8:45 p.m. Also new is the Oasis Fiesta beverage garden that will serve some of your favourite local  beverages!
