Belonging: A Reflection on Creative Resistance and Resilience
May 16 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
FreeIn our community, oppression, discrimination, and racism persist, motivating local creators to use art as a way to understand and express their personal experiences. Vernon and District Immigrant and Community Services Society invites you to join us May 16th for a special evening at the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre, where we’ll honour these creative efforts and gain deeper insight into the remarkable works.
Doors open at 6 pm and guests are invited to experience the exhibits at their leisure throughout the evening. Admission is free and includes entry to a raffle with art, products and experiences from local businesses. Snacks and refreshments will be available.
For more information, please contact Amy Timleck at [email protected].
Note: Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre is wheelchair accessible.
