From horse to carriage, dug-out canoe to motorboat, roller-skates to skateboard, with every journey we take, we are transported through space and time. MAV’s entrance gallery features some of the most popular forms of summer transportation, whether for travel or recreation, including a newly dedicated traditional syilx dug-out canoe, a full-sized horse-drawn coach, a very well-worn skateboard deck, and the flattest, widest wooden water skis we’ve ever seen.

The Summer Transportation Exhibit will be on display from July to September 2022.
