Tea at Mackie Lake House

Mackie Lake House will be celebrating Earth Day this year with a not-so-traditional afternoon tea service. Celebrating all things sustainable, this year’s tea service will include a fully-vegan meal (provided by Gumtree Catering) and guests are invited to wear their favourite thrifted outfits.
Guests will recognize traditional tea staples on the menu, but with a vegan twist. The offerings include:
Sandwiches – Classic Cucumber, Radish & Poppyseed, Roasted Red Pepper & Pesto, Carrot Lox & Herbed Cream
Scones – served with house-made jam
Desserts – Mini Lemon & Thyme Bundt Cakes, French Style Fruit Tarts, Vanilla & Raspberry Petit Fours, Chamomile & Orange Shortbread Cookies
