The Okanagan Regional Library is hosting an online Author Talk with Destanne Norris.
In “Leah’s Gift: A Story about Reframing Loss”, Okanagan author Destanne Norris illuminates how her art and journaling helped her frame unanswerable questions to find new meaning and purpose after she lost her young daughter.
ORL Librarian host Christina SueChan writes: “A work of art, 35 years in gestation, created by a courageous woman. This is for those who have lost, yes – but also for those who want to live fully. For anyone seeking answers to the question, “What are the gifts of life?”, join Destanne’s talk.”
Join Destanne as she reads and shows artwork from her book on March 4th from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
