The Okanagan Artists of Canada Society will be hanging their artwork down the opening aisle of the Village Green Shopping Centre starting October 1. The colourful and varied paintings from more than 40 local talents will greet shoppers until mid-November. The theme of this show is Three Cheers for 75 Years to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the group. This will in fact be two shows in one as many of the paintings will be changed up on October 22. Every two months the VPAG features a new faculty member who shares with our community their artistic practice or research interest in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. Participants get to experience a quality university level lecture, in a welcoming and non-intimidating environment with an opportunity for a question and answer session at the end of the presentation.
